The Reading, Rivermead, Caversham & Bracknell Karate Clubs (SSKA) are committed to becoming a quality club by working towards gaining recognition & accreditation of Sport England's new "Club Mark" programme. This is a national programme that would, if successful, be awarded by
Karate England to clubs that achieve and abides by national guidelines for providing quality in sport. Working in accordance with the policies and guidelines of the groups (below), thus making your training environment a safe & enjoyable place to learn this ancient martial art.
Karate Mark is being introduced throughout Karate England's development work to:

Ensure the well-being of young people whilst in the care of adults other than their legal parent(s)

Enthuse young people to enjoy sport and active recreation to build a healthy lifestyle.

Enable and encourage young people to use their leisure time creatively.
