GRADING FROM: 1st DAN (Sho Dan) to 2nd DAN (Ni Dan) Black Belt

Combinations will be decided by the grading examiner on the day.

KUMITE
FEMALE OPTION: Self defence moves against 2 or 4 opponents.
Jiyu kumite (freestyle) Fighting three consecutive opponents. Women have the choice of Jiyu kumite or Self Defence.

Heian katas or Kihon Kata, Tekki Shodan & Bassai DaiExaminer may select any kata from list below:
Kanku Dai, Bassai Dai, Tekki Nidan, Tekki Shodan, Jiin, Hangetsu, Empi, Jitte, Chinte, Jion
NB: Candidates will be assessed on their technical ability.
Candidates may select any one of the following kata:
Nijushiho, Bassai Sho, Sochin, Kanku Sho
Candidates must wait a minimum time period of 2 years between 1st Dan & 2nd Dan gradings.
