Heian katas or Kihon KataExaminer may select any kata from list below:
Kanku Dai, Bassai Dai, Tekki Nidan, Tekki Shodan, Jiin, Hangetsu, Empi, Jitte, Chinte, Jion
NB: Candidates will be assessed on their technical ability.
Candidates may select any one of the following kata:
Nijushiho, Bassai Sho, Sochin, Kanku Sho
Candidates must wait a minimum time period of 2 years between 1st Dan & 2nd Dan gradings.
