Mission Statement - Aims & Purpose.

The aim of the TJSKA is to contribute to the local community & karate in general by providing an opportunity for individuals to learn Traditional Japanese Shotokan Karate, & all that that entails, to enable & empower its students to become healthier, happier & more productive citizens in their community & to teach them a skill & an art that they can take through life, therefore allowing them to enjoy life to it's fullest & for longer. Training is practiced in an environment that fosters safety, respect & equality.

Furthermore, every effort is being made to make this club a centre of excellence for Traditional Japanese Shotokan Karate in Caversham (Reading) and it's environs.
