In Memory of Mr Barry Burton

In Loving Memory of Sean Keating

Dear Karateka,

It is my very sad duty to inform you that Sean Keating died in a tragic motorcycle accident in Woodcote on Monday the 6th October 2014 at 2am.  He was only 49 years of age. He leaves behind his wife Joy & daughters Katrina, Tara & Carinn.

Sean was a regular & hard working student who passed his Shodan Black belt test on Sunday 26th September 2004. He was very well known and liked by many members in the club.

His passions, as well as karate, were motorcycle riding, archaeology, his allotment & singing in a group.

He will be sadly missed, not least because of his friendly, helpful, happy and outgoing nature.  He was like a father figure to some of us, full of generosity and kindness.  His heart was as big as his personality.

His funeral service was on Monday 20th October at 1.45pm at the Reading Crematorium South Chapel.

We will all miss Sean!

Oss in Karate-do,

Terry Tozer.
