Three Spiritual Philosophies
Three descriptive phrases appear repeatedly in Zen literature called these "The Three Spiritual Philosophies". They are;-
1) Ishin Denshin
This is communication by telepathy (or more probably by body language and intuition). This used to be the way old masters were teaching to their disciples, no explanations, just feelings and observations. This is a way of receiving teachings according to Japanese expression, "From my soul to your soul." It is something that is not transmitted verbally. It was given in ancient Tibet and in the Orient from teacher to pupil.
